To be a foodie.
Don't get me wrong, I love food, I make lasagna, and some of my Grandma's recipe's for various delicacies such as stuffed cabbage. And I love fresh warm blackberry pie with whipped cream. And exotic (to me) stuff like cannoli. So I have a wide range of tastes.
But some of this fancy restaurant stuff with matching prices leaves me cold. I saw this review in The New York Times this morning, for a restaurant that my Dad and his wife actually go to on occasion: http://events.nytimes.com/2010/07/21/dining/reviews/21rest.html?th&emc=th
No thank you.
