    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I knew that would get your attention !

In an effort to help bring more participation and interest to the Discussion forums, I have designed these banners for anyone that would like to use them. Feel free to place them on your website in the appropriate places and just link them back this Discussion forum.

If some one has some pics that I could use to make other banners, drop me a line. I don't work with these so I don't have any good photos.

Please check back often, as I may change them from time to time.

Why would you advertise, via banner, the Arboreal Boa/Python Forum but then link it to the BOI Forum?

I thought it was explained clearly enough, anyway the banner says "ARBOREAL BOAS/PYTHONS DISCUSSION FORUM".
Why would you link it back to anything other than that?

Let me know if you need help figuring out linking it back.

It's really VERY SIMPLE.

Do you even have a website to place the banner?
 
Your first post was very specific, to bring participation to the BOI Forum by creating banners which advertised a completely different forum and, specifically, instructing users to link them back to the BOI. Now you are saying to link them back to whatever I want.

What exactly was your intent with this?

Bart he said ""BOI forums"' now it might have been clearer to you if he said Fauna Classified forums. Jim went out of his way to make these , they are free for anyone who wants to use them on their website to link back to this forum. Randy

I guess the confusion for me, as Randy pointed out, is the use of the term BOI Forum(s) which I associate strictly with the Board of Inquiry, which IMO, is completely independent of other Fauna Forums.

To me, that first post was like advertising for Ford and linking it to a Chevrolet website. Hence my bewilderment.

To answer your question, which I did not intend to ignore, just missed it, I am in early stages of building a site (the stage of deciding whether to do it myself or pay someone). This of course has nothing to do with my posts here, which honestly was only meant for my own entertainment.

You have to admit, sometimes posting back and forth with someone because you know you can get a rise out of them is better than cable television. If nothing else, this particular forum got slightly more interesting than it has been for a while. This thread got more views in less than two days than most got in two weeks.

Back to my cable television I guess.

It does seem like you have had other intentions from your first post.

My suggestion to you ( and I think you would be doing yourself a favor too ) is to let some one else build your website. You seem to get confused real easily.
