In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What are some markers or things to look for on choclate ball pythons especially as babies. I can upload pictures later when I can take them but I am interested in knowing the things to look for.

Dark color and pattern are what I look for. Also the belly, kind of "checker boardish" if you will. Also the dorsal coloring is more of a bright yellow than the darker yellow of the normal. And like Tom said a Chocolate colored head. If you post pictures I can give my best guess. I have produced them for the last couple of years.

Good deal I wasn't able to get in my room to take pics but I can let you know the pairing and post pics tomorrow.

Pinstripe possible choclate female
Pastel clown male

4 eggs
1.1 normals maybe chocolates idk
1.1 pinnes not sure about either of them

I also know them being 100% hets are going to make things a little different as well this is why I am unsure. I haven't worked with both long enough to know the subtle differences.

Thanks for both of y'all's help!

The checkering on the belly is a good giveaway. They can be really subtle though. I have two Chocolate females that I bought as normals (they have produced supers for me).

Here is a belly pic of a chocolate hatchling from a Chocolate x Chocolate pairing.

Picture of Chocolate

Here is the best picture of my Chocolate's belly. Couldn't get him to sit still.

Thanks! I'm still trying to get pictures up. I have them on my iPhone but it won't let me post from them. It gives me an error when I upload.
