cleaning shelf liner

We recently switched out the playsand for white non-adhesive shelf liner. It's the kind that doesn't have holes through it but still has a bumpy texture (for grip-age). If we don't clean up the poop RIGHT after their finished; it stains the shelf liner an awful yellow-green color. Is there anyway to get rid of these stains? Is there anyway that we can prevent the discoloration? Thanks!

well do you have to have the color white? Maybe a nice dark color would hide the discoloration?....just my opinion, a darkr color would be WAY better,,,

Does bleaching the shelf liner help remove the stains??? If not I would have to agree with getting a darker color.....

you could always just replace it every week or so
