Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Fauna does not assume the role of judge and jury, it provides the tools necessary for users to properly research someone they are thinking about buying from, but it does not hand hold and attempt to save anyone from their own laziness if they don't bother to check someone out.

You obviously have not fully thought out what you are expecting of this site. If scammers were removed out of hand then you open a serious can of worms. First you must determine what constitutes a scammer, in specific legal detail. Gray areas will abound.
Then if a scammer is removed then by default it is inferred that anyone who is allowed to use the site is not a scammer.

Basically scammers will exist on any site that sells anything, reptile related or not. The difference here is there is at least a way to check them out to a degree which is more that most any other site has the cohones to do.

That being said accounts are not closed, but no one forces you to utilize it.

So how many people telling me that YOU are a scammer (not that this has happened, mind you, but giving you an example of the potential consequences of what you are suggesting) would be needed before I should feel compelled to ban you?

Think about this DEEPLY because this is in no way a superficial question, nor is the answer.

ok # 1 I didnt get scammed, someone else on here did. # 2 i wouldnt have a problem if someone said this person ripped me off and the other said no i didnt, that would be between them but the guy even admitted he rip the guy off and then gave him back his $. if i walk into a store and steal something and the cams showed me on the 5 o'clock news and i went back to the store to return it and say hey i didnt mean to, you think i wont get arrested? will the judge just say oh hes sorry he wont do it again we'll let him go? lmao, if thats what you think you might want to try it. what i am saying is he doesnt need to be allowed to post for the simple fact he could rip someone else off and next time might be even more $ and might not give it back. you have to have morals, doing good business is doing good business. do bad business is doing bad business but ripping people off like this is not business its wrong. when doing business you dont have to have morals or a good personality, all that is a plus but when you are doing good business you must have morals and a good personality, not just for your sake or your business but out of respect for your customers and others.
if you think im just jumping to conclusions read the posts on here about everything that happened. Webslave if you think i'm wrong pm me and let me know why and i will apologize and go on about my business. check it out and everyone let me know if im just jumping the gun. i try to look out for everyone out of respect because noone wants to get ripped off and some people get on the comp for one thing and thats got get a few snakes because the love them and dont know how to work a comp that well and would be very easy to get ripped off. i have a freind that does not know how to use a comp except to check Fauna and KS and does not know about all this tech stuff and if it wasnt for me teaching him how to work other things there isnt any telling what would happen to him. he is in his 60's and loves corn and king snakes and knows nothing about comps. if someone else like this was giving a website addy and said check this its cool you can get this and this and this and they dont know how to use it passed clicking on the site they could get caught up in something and lose $ cause of someone else. if i am wrong for looking out for people that love herps then fine im wrong but i have morals and wont let anyone get ripped off if i can help it. i beleive in good business if its through my business or someone elses. check out the post about J.J Price/J.J Draper/Dustin Draper/Justin Draper tell me if im wrong

In assuming that it is our responsibility to spoon feed anyone the information here, or to make the decisions for them concerning whom they should deal with. All of the information anyone is willing to provide here will be available to whoever wishes to utilize that information. It is completely up to them to make their own decisions based on the efforts they expend to seek out that information and how they choose to interpret what it is they are reading. We will not, and cannot, tell someone not to do business with someone else. The only thing we CAN do is to judge people by the way they present themselves on this site in relation to how they behave in relation to the rules.

Yes, people are banned, but not for being a bonafide bad guy, but because of what they have DONE on this site TO this site and management. That is the only criteria we use to make that sort of a decision. And yes, good guys in the business can be banned, and bad guys not simply because of the way they present themselves here. Might sound kind of cockeyed to some people, but legally and ethically, everything else is simply hearsay and not having any basis whatsoever in the greater majority of the time with actual first hand experience.

Sorry, but each and every one of you are not only the jury here, but also your own personal judge. That is the way it has always been here, and I sincerely doubt that this position will budge even an inch in the future.

So if you don't like the methodology I have chosen for how this site is run, then you are certainly free to go elsewhere more to your liking. Until shown otherwise, this is the BEST way to run this site that I can think of. And trust me, I have thought of everything and anything (and tried most) to try to make it better.
