    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Compatible herps?

I am just getting into leo geckoes; I own snakes and beardies. I am not really interested in large alligators and the like. What kind of 'reptile folks' are you most compatible with?

I'm definitely a python girl. Any animals I'd keep would be pets first and foremost, so I don't see myself ever owning anything I couldn't ever hold. I also like arboreal geckos like viper geckos, cresteds, etc. I'm not a big fan of most colubrids, but I do like bulls and hognoses. Oh and anything iridescent lol. Some boas are cool, but argies and dumeril's are my favorites.

As for what kind of "reptile guys" I'm attracted to, lol they are usually interested in hots and or colubrids. I like my opposites, what can I say? Different is interesting.

Getting into the darker end of snakes is a big jump. I went from Ball Pythons and BCI to a trim trig and a Russels. Now with two insane B aspers trying to kill me at every chance I guess I get along best with other venomous keepers who know what it is like to keep such great creatures. And I call it the darker end because people who don't know or understand seem to think venomous keepers have a death wish and are insane. I am neither they are very interesting animals that just now are making a big splash in the reptile market place.
