In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Last week, I decided to buy superworms because I read they were better than mealies.

Shes eaten one so far(about 4 or 5 days ago) and hasn't eaten another. Is it safe to say she doesnt like them or is there another technique to get her to eat them?

Yes there is other way.... One way, if she is an mealworm eater then what you can do is mix superworm and mealworm... Reduce mealworm slowly and add more superworms getting her to be used to it... Or you can stop feed for 5 days to 2 week causing them to be hungry and willing to eat anything that moves- sounds curel but works

Now that I think about it, it was probably size that turned her off. She didnt regurg the first super, so I suppose shes likes the taste. Shes curious about them, but seems a bit apprehensive about taking them on.

Wonder how my parents would feel about getting bugs in the mail:uhh:

Slightly off topic: My leo often tries to scale the glass(she gets nearly upright) when im in the room and immediately gets on my hand when i put it in there. Is she bored/lonely or just friendly(as much as a herp could be)?

I've tried to get my gecko to eat supers too, intially successfully, but he won't even touch them now. The very first time he chowed down on 4 or 5 of them in a row, so I was getting all excited thinking this was gonna be easy. Then second time, he ate two, then third he ate one. After that he wouldn't go near them. I've tried the mixing thing, but the supers started eating the mealworms:>Puke<:. I think it was the smell. Mealworms generally just smell like apples and grain (haha, basically what I feed them), but the supers no matter what I fed them would have this slightly pungent odor. Meh, it's been a while so maybe I'll try again, pet stores around here have pretty poor stock, you get a can of 50 supers, 40 if them are eaten or dead and black, and the remaining 10 are in poor shape.
