Hello All,
I have a few questions, as I have three female leo's and I just found one on her back dead. She was the most active and friendly leo of the bunch. She was always out and about running around and loved coming out of the tank. The last few days we had noticed a few odd things, but nothing completely out of the ordinary. She had been sleeping in random places, places she didn't typically sleep, but i didn't really think anything of it. She was fine this morning, but sleeping in an odd place, when i started to open the tank she woke up and ran off. But tonight just now, she was upside down dead... A good part of her stomach is all black, and from what I've researched so far it sounds like signs of impaction. She has never been kept on anything but paper towels, she's about a year old, and has been fed mealworms all of her life. That is what the breeder fed, and they have never been interested in anything else. I've gave them crickets and such, but they have never cared for them so I've always just stayed with meal worms. They are in a 20G Long, a good heat spot, plenty of hides, calcium, water and a dish of mealworms that I've always just left in there at all times. I have no idea what i did or what could have gone wrong. Please if anyone has any suggestions of what i could do or what i could do different please let me know, I don't want this happening to the others, Thank you very much for any advice.
