Bad Guy Defending myself before accused

I have felt the need to come here before I am slammed for not delivering a product. I had a customers friend order a rack from me and said he would most likely pick it up at the Oct. 23rd Cleveland reptile expo, I told him it would be 3 weeks and he said he can wait. He paid for it thru paypal and it may have been a mistake but I told him to send it as a friend so I would not have to charge the fee, my mistake.
