• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looking for someone who has used Delta Dash before, if possible several times would be great.

If you are the shipper, what kind of steps need to be taken to ship?
What kind of identification is required if any? Do they check your ID, if so, how well, a glance or really check it? Does your name have to match the shipping information or can you drop off for someone else?

Basically a scammer has shipped via Delta Dash, trying to see what traces of information can be used from that shipment.

Thank you in advance!

I have always had to show my ID. Usually you would call there 800 number to set up the shipment and receive a reference number to give the desk person when you got there. Not sure how all airports are but here they check to be sure your Id matches the information on the packing slip. I hope this helps.

When I was using it, you had to be a known shipper...and there was a process for attaining that status. (Application, fee, site visit, ID confirmation) The shipper ID number had to be given when setting up the shipment, and ID had to be shown when presenting the package. I've seen a number of posts that suggest one can now ship DD without being a known shipper...at least from some locations.

Perfect Harald. This all stems from that Kate Ellis / Tony Pappas / Mike Cogar Delta Dash tort issue. I'm still working on it in the back ground. Thanks!
