    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looks like my Desert is Het Hypo. Hatched this clutch a few weeks ago and a Hypo popped out. Was a 4 egg clutch and lost one egg along the way. The small desert was from a boob egg only 29 grams but he is doing great. Ended up with 2 male Deserts Het Hypo and a female Hypo.

Stupid Question:
will you continue the Desert Project? Some Breeders here in Germany are stoping the whole Desert Thing, `casue the Femals don`t produce good Eggs or none at all, so i was wondering...

Not a stupid question at all.My plan is to continue but will be very limited production maybe 1-2 clutches a year. I am not in it for the money so I don't really care if they sell for pet prices, I just wan't to produce the nicest looking animals I can.

Good answer man:thumbsup:

I continue to breed my deserts because the animals are just so incredable. I have shown friends some of my stuff I have made this season and over snakes that would be in the four and five digit range, my mojave desert is what impresses them. Why spent a ton on something you think is ugly because it will make you money, over producing animals you are proud of even if you give them away to good homes?

Thanks for all the comments guys!! And I agree 100% with you Randy. Deserts are just too awesome looking to stop working with them. Sure it sucks they won't bring the big money but there are alot of other high dollar projects out there.

I`m really happy to hear that you are sticking to the Dessert Project!
I also don`t breed Snakes for the Money (if something comes in to buy new Snakes i`m as glad as can be) so i too breed what i love to have :) Why else would i do Woma Lesser or True Ghost Spider? No Market for Axanthic combos here in Germany, but who the heck cares ;) I`d rather have one Axanthic Spider then two Opal Diamonds or all those 6 Gene Combos who look all the same.. some dirty white Snakes with reduced Pattern...

Mojave Desert is one Hell of a beautyfull Combo!
