    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If someone can take a look at these and tell me what they are that would help greatly.

The story-

Adult female coastalcarpet python. Shes been fine for the 6 months or so that Ive her, eats great, sheds fine, no problems, And I keep her cage emaculate. I had a small outbreak of mites from what was supposed to be a captive born pair of ATB's. So I used the seven dust method (5%) of killing off the mights. Everything worked great. My initial thought was that the seven dust had ome effect on her skin but I used it on all of my snakes with no problems. Anyways, she looked fine until she shed last night and I found about 8-9 of these sores on her. For now Im gonna use tripple antiboitic to keep whatever its is from possibly spreading. If anyone knows what this is than I could use some advise. If I cant get it to go away one my own, shes goin to the vet.

It may be an alergic reaction to the seven dust, that is a lot of scars to appear all of a sudden. Do you feed her live prey, if so it can be scars from the rodents biting her.
 
I have seen similar lesions in animals that have been kept too wet. If the underlying skin becomes macerated bacterial or fungal infections can occur. If she is not better with triple antibiotic ointment a veterinarian can do impression smears and cytology to determine whether fungal elements or bacteria are present. At that point you can treat systemically or elect culture and sensitivity to determine exact cause and then treat accordingly.
 
That would make sense. I gave her a nice long rinse to rinse off the seven dust. That was about 3-4 days before she shed. If the water got trapped under the shedding skin it would have stayed. And she was the only one of the group that was in shed which would explain why she was the only one with a problem. Not to mention with the mites and all she was doing alot of soaking herself. Thanks for the input. By the way the antibiotic ointment worked.

And for anyone with a mite problem, the seven dust worked like a charm. I cant find the link that explained it to me or I would put it up here.
