    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just checked my two cinnies, their bellies are clean.

My buddies black pastel belly is clean with speckles here and there but I've seen black pastels with dirty bellies before.

I'd put my money on black pastel for sure! Now you just have to figure out if its a new line or not and if so if its compatible with the other lines (don't see why not!).

Next question.... Did the guy mention whether or not is she was CH or WC? (If you already mentioned this, srry musta missed it) or the parents possibly being CH or WC?
 
Very nice. I think you have yourself a nice project there. Those lines in the aliens are very cool, one of the coolest traits a ball can have IMO. Her belly reminds me of my Huffman too.

I have a Cinnamon and a Black Pastel and their bellies are CLEAR - I'd say most Cinnys/Black Pastels have clear bellies but with the different lines there is room for variation.

No, I didn't get a chance to ask :( Long story short, I took my son and my brother up to the pet store and we were browsing the snakes. I noticed this one and it took us forever to find someone to pull it out, and then even longer to find out a price. Then I asked him to sex it and right then, my son started projectile vomiting all over me. I said I'm really sorry, I can't get her... I gotta go and ran out the pet store so my boy could get some fresh air. I was out there thinking "dang, I wish I could have looked at the snake more" but my son was getting sick and I had to go. I shot my brother a text and said to just get her. I was glad I thought twice on that one but to be honest, there where so many balls on sale and employees that I doubt anyone would have knew her origin.

I am kind of afraid to put one of my CB's in with her but I have several months to figure out a game plan and I plan on keeping her in QT until she is breedable. I might run her by the vet next week and ask if they can check her for parasites or what not. I got her to take a live small mouse and then a F/T small rat about an hour later so that was a plus.

I think the GHI is a little more speckly and has a more consistent pattern than her. Most of her black lines are mid body only but :shrug01: I did see the GHIxMojave and OMG! Hot!! That and the Black Magic (MojaveXB.Pastel) have me second guessing my plans with her, lol.

Oh man that didn't sound like any fun! :ack2: I hope your son is okay!


They should have records of where they got her. I'd go back and at least ask and see if you can come up with any extra info on her. Doesn't hurt to try. The vet check is a good idea too.
 
I think it sort of resembles the Liesen line, maybe not as nice but pretty close. I would contact him for a belly pic. Needless to say this was great pick up, I think something cool will come from this.

Yeah he's doing fine now. He spent his first and only day at day care gathering strep from the other kids. I guess that had a reaction with milk, but holy cow! Antibiotic baby poops are serious business :ack2:

Hey Bob!

Yeah that's probably the closet morph I have found so far that she resembles. There are a couple differences like my pattern/coloring isn't as pretty and my snake has less hue, a little darker, and the pattern is a little messy. She's also got that head spot that I'm not sure if they have or not. One of his pics appear it has a similiar head spot but several don't :shrug01:

Either way, I think she's gonna make me happy and I can't wait :D
 
Oh yeah, forgot to mention. She has two dots like a mustache at her nose and chin/throat markings like a spider.
 
I love this snake - can't wait to see what you produce out of her :thumbsup: I think she looks similar to the Huffman but not quite - she's different in color and pattern but it's close... As for the head spot, Huffmans have a tear-shaped faded spot on the back of the head, your girl has a +... Very interesting indeed ;)
 
I wish you lived closer so that I could lend you my mystery snake. Your girl and Darth are made for each other. Whatever they are, they're two of a kind.

Darth is a mystery, and I've had quite a few people look at him. He has some features in common with black pastel, het red, cinnamon, leopard, and several more. He might be something that is compatable with the het reds or black pastels or cinnamons in the same way that mojaves lessers and butters can combine to make a white snake. I'm going to have to get myself a black pastel and cinnamon female and try it out.

As I said, I would love if FocalX lived closer. His female looks like the same thing, especially with that black moustache. That pairing might make something unusual. I'd like to know if there was a super to whatever he is. I guess I'll see in a few years.
