Baltimore Bees
I have this "normal" female we purchased from a collector on craigslist who was liquidating his collection. I don't normally do this, however I saw this girl and had to have her. Well, last year we bred her to Bumble Bee & Lesser Platinum males, the Bee had originally been purchased from 8-Ball, however we have no idea where this girl came from. She produced a clutch of 2 Bumble Bees, 1 Spider, 1 Pastel, 1 Normal, and 1 Lesser (she had been bred to a Bumble Bee & Lesser Platinum). Here's where it gets interesting. Not only does she have an odd pattern (I don't know if she's a normal with a reduced pattern or what and if anybody has any ideas, it would be great), but one of the Bees has a pattern similar to triple gene Bumble Bee morphs, at least in my opinion. I have never seen a bee like him, pattern wise, except for some Lesser Bees and types that seem to change the Bee pattern.
We were getting ready for breeding season and I wasn't sure if I should breed her back to the original Bee or another one of our morphs. The baby isn't big enough to breed back to her yet so he's not a choice for a year or so. I attached pictures of her and the Bee baby. I had posted these before, but these are updated. I will have another few more of the baby Bee in a few days once he's shed. Thanks for any help/ideas/thoughts anybody else has!
