In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I see a lot of dinkers that I really don't think are anything more than normals, but I bought a WC gravid female ball python back in Jan. You can see in the pics that she's rather light in color and had no belly pattern, so I figured it was worth a try. Even if she was just a normal, pretty normal females never hurt.
Here's the female:

She laid 6 eggs and all hatched the other day and while they aren't as light as their Mum, they are rather interesting I think:

What do you guys think?

Wow, awesome! What was the father?! There is definitely something wonky going on there, those babies are spectacular.

They look Granite. I'm not usually a fan but those babies are sweet. I would hope for a male and put him back to mom. I'd keep the whole clutch, if your not going to though I'll just send you my address now :)

Congrats

It looks like she may have bred a granite over there, but they are really nice ones. This will give you something to play with for a few years anyway. Good luck with them.

I've had a lot of people ask if I am going to sell any, I'm still not sure, I may keep the whole clutch, but if I do decide to sell any (won't be more than 4) I'll let you guys know in the order you asked.
Anyone know what a fair price for one of these guys would be? I hate pricing stuff, lol

(Saying nice things about the babies, or the mom, is, of course, allowed)

Uhhhh in my opinion if I produced something like that from a WC female you would be paying waaaaaay more that a couple hundred bucks. I have never seen anything like those before, ( if there is something out there that looks close, please do share) and they may actually be a granite clutch worth investing in, imho. Any other proven granites I see just look normal or have a few speckles in the alien heads. Tell this story and show the pics to some big wigs and let them know bids start now on the only male you'll release. Id love to find out what theyll pay for it.

Honestly if these are a granite, They are the absolute best, and there looks to be a super form since all the babies came out the same, imo. I wouldnt be surprised to see these babies go into 5 digits quickly and easily. Sorry if your looking to get one of these, but I dont think anything exists that looks like this. If I were you Id keep them all and prove a super form, that will only increase they're value. And you would have a jump on everyone by having the only adults.

I see too many awesome morphs and combos come out and in three years they worth 1/10th of theyre value. And when you spend a good $10,000 on a snake only to see its babies go for a $1000 each, unless you get a male and have more than ten viable eggs that are all this pattern, you end up losing money. And I dont think that does our hobby any good. People produce too many to quick. Again this is all just my opinion and they are yours to do with as you wish. But a huge CONGRATS on them and deeeeeeefinitely keep us posted on these as much as possible. Good luck with them.

Correction, the closest I've seen to these is a chocolate ball. But still these take a very big piece of the cake.

My female (who was also Wild Caught) looks pretty close to these guys, which is why I wanted a male!
Here she is for comparrison. Sorry about crappy blackberry pictures.

One of the best examples for sure and I have seen some that looked just like these. Ian G (Outback) releases a few WC/CH every year, not for 5 digits tho.

This snake and pics belong to Greg Jeffery. He got her from Ian.
It sure looks better than most super granites out there but its only a granite.
I was hoping to get some offspring from it but being that its a female it will take another year or so.

I also apologize if I hijacked the thread.

I do agree that top examples of any morph should sell for top dollar.
A good price on them should ease the pain of letting them go, well just a few of them. But I wouldnt blame you for keeping them all. :yesnod:
