I felt DThomas was out of line for saying what he did in the Kelli apology thread. He should have left it alone but doesn't know how. I gave him a negative rep point for doing it with the comment "Unnecessary...As usual.." For that I was suspended with a response from him saying "You just don't get it". Let me ask something, if we can't give a moderator a negative rep point, then why is the option there. Rich, we have had this discussion in the past, but maybe its time you reign in the egos of your moderators. Since you have instituted the new wild west, its apparent they aren't serving much of a purpose here anyway. Antagonism towards a moderator? I don't think that qualifies. Nobody could see it but him and I think he jumped the gun. Is this what it has come to?

Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Really man, this never would have happened if you would have shown some tact in the first place. Did the mod in question give more punishment than was probably deserved? Maybe. But when you poke a bear with a stick you are taking the risk that the reaction may be more than you bargained for.

Again, you don't just get it. The warning wasn't for the negative karma. You chose to attack my post, which was made as a MOD. It matters not if it was in private or public, attack a moderator and you will pay the consequences.
