If you are considering purchasing from this breeder, I strongly urge you to read this first—my experience raises serious concerns about both animal health and accountability.
I purchased a baby bearded dragon from this breeder for $630, and unfortunately, she was a failure to thrive from the day I received her. She never ate independently despite appropriate husbandry, careful monitoring, and following established care guidelines. Even the breeder initially commented on how stressed she appeared the moment I opened her shipping container.
Her condition continued to decline. She developed gastrointestinal issues including straining, constipation, and regurgitation despite supportive care and hydration. I brought her to an exotic veterinarian, where diagnostics and necropsy revealed severe, systemic disease affecting multiple organ systems. Findings included diffuse abscesses throughout the coelomic cavity lining, liver, and intestines, along with abnormal intestinal tissue. Infectious causes such as cryptosporidium and atadenovirus are suspected, with testing submitted.
I communicated all findings transparently and in good faith. Initially, the breeder agreed to provide a refund, but later reversed that decision, stating they had “mistaken me for another customer” and then attributing the outcome to “poor husbandry” without any effort to verify my setup or review the veterinary findings.
What was especially concerning was the tone and approach to communication. Throughout this process, rather than showing curiosity, concern, or willingness to review veterinary evidence, the breeder quickly accused me of inappropriate husbandry and dehydrating her, overall highly combative, provided inaccurate advice (such as claiming a 110°F basking spot was “baking her to death”), and shifted blame repeatedly. There was zero accountability, contradictory messaging, and a dismissive, know-it-all attitude that left me feeling frustrated and unheard in the face of irrefutable evidence the dragon arrived ill.
I don't want anyone else to experience the stress and expense.
