Does this pic look Okay?

Here is a picture of Electra. I'm trying to figure out how to take good pics.......... How do these look? Any opinion is appreciated.

Hm, both still look kinda dull. Maybe take it in direct sunlight and see where that gets you? I have a group that just doesn't picture well, it always comes out blurry (well, maybe not blurry but not vibrant, not with the umph that they have. ), no matter what I do. Its a great looking animal thats for sure. Keep at it.

Use the programable settings on your camera. You should have a menu that allows you to adjust for the type of Light your using. Choose Sunlight or Daylight and take that pic again. The top pic is clearly the better of the two yet it still looks a bit Dark. You can tell it was taken in sunlight but the setting was off a bit. Try that and see how it works. Or you could send her to me and I can get a nice CRISP clear pic for you.

I was bale to pull your image into Photoshop and I was able to brighten it up and see the real color. A very nice animal!!!

when you take the pic in indirect sunlight use the flash... or if you dont want to use the flash try full direct sunlight

Matt, while I think the colors look nice. I think it would be best to keep trying to capture the animals true colors in the picture without any editing at all. That way you can never be questioned about the actual colors. I do believe that it is an amazing animal. You don't ever want anyone to acuse you of altering the pics in any way though.

It still looks washed out though........ She looks in between my pic and Michael's pic............

My camera doesn't have a flash, and I think that is the main problem, after I get a new camera (In a couple of months) I'll try again, until then I guess I just have to be patient.

well it will be a little while before i take more pics they really need some time time to settle in it hasnt even been 2 weeks since i had them and 3 out of 4 are eating well one isnt so i am going to give them at least a month more before i start handleing them and taking pics and stuff like that i paid a good bit of money for them and i am not going to take any unnecissary chances with them thats for sure the pics i took that i showed you was a quick snap when i first got them home and then i hurried up and put them in thier new home i really wasnt worried about the pics as much as getting them in box and starting to reduc the stress so as soon as they are all good and eating well i will experiment also with the pic taking i know i can do way better then those .



and Robin why must you make cheap shots at Alberto like that i have seen Ruby in person and even the picture he post of her on his web page is not even close to the true beauty that that animal holds im sure you are/were only kidding but i am really sore about the thing I and Matt have started earlier and would like everyone to not make shots at anyone we should all get along and enjoy our hobby together and stop tring to see who can pee the farthest proverbially speaking of course(a pissing contest)

I also can doctor a pic also this is DOCTORED so please dont think it is a normal pic this is close to what she really look like in person but still not perfect by no means
