    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If you had only one Double Homozygous project to work towards, what would be your favorite?

I'd love to work towards a Caramel Pied!
 
I have 2 projects, I would absolutely love to work with.
One would be a Pewter Pastel Spider, and the other would be True Ghosts. That would be very fun, but I don't have near enough cash for that... I will be happy if I have enough to get a pastel male sometime before the breeding season of 2006. My 1.3 normals are all doing good, and I'm happy I have that one male as a back up breeder whether I don't have a pastel male, or it isn't of size. The male is around 850+ grams. One female is about 500, and other two are around 300. All 4 are eatying f/t rats, and I'm hoping to add a 700+ gram female in January.
Anyhow, the Pewter Spider, and the True Ghosts top my list as some of the most visually stunning animals to come in the future. Does anybody know if anybody has DH Axanthix X Hypomelanistic to make the true ghosts ready to breed this season? I know one of the big breeders has to have them. Most of the big breeders probably have double hets of some size, and all of them have the animals it would take to start the project.
 
RDR for sure. NERD I believe. BHB likely. The Barkers possibly. Sutherlands possibly. A couple smaller breeders have produced double hets the past couple seasons as well. Even at 1 in 16 odds this should be the season.

This should be the year for spider pieds (Pete Kahl and Nerd), albino pieds (a few people), albino clown (bhb and others) and a few other new doubles. There should also be some new triples and we are not far off from a few quads.
 
I hope Kahl is the first with a lot of the designer pied morphs, because he was the first with pieds.
Either way, the odds are in favor for some very nice morphs popping out this season.
