    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay,
so my dragon S'More is shedding. He is running around rubbing on rockes, in and out of the water, etc.

That all is normal, what is not is the chirping or whistling he is doing. It's the first time I have ever heard it.

Now new changes would be a new viv, that I made myself for him. Temps are all good, and we have both the UVB bulb and the heat bulb.

Now an odd thing S'More does is balloon up/take in air. He does this all the time...so for him it is normal.

Anyone ever heard of the chirping?

Thanks!

It sounds like a respiratory infection. Do you know the humidity levels of his viv by any chance? What are the temps on the cool side and the basking area? When does he do the balloon thing? When he is around water or just randomly when he takes a deep breath?

Humidity levels are very low. He does the balloon thing in responce to me, anytime I am near, or if I pick him up. He flairs too.

Cool side is a low of 75, and hot side between 105-110. Still a very small hatchling, and is eating wonderfully (about 12 xsmall dubia, a dozen 1/4-1/2 inch small crickets, and a dozen mixed worms a day, plus greens).

I don't think its a RI because I think I would hear him do it more. I just don't know what it means, and he only started doing it in his new viv yesterday and has stopped today. Now yesterday he was shedding, and today completed doing that.

Other than RI's, I have never heard a beardie make any kind of noise :shrug01:

The only thing I can think of is maybe a piece of skin from his nostril was whistling?( the piece of skin there goes all the way deep into their nose).
