Each few days I notice that more eggs are turning yellow and begin to collapse. Out of 24 eggs half of them have done that. The temp is dailed in at 83-85 and their seem more then enough moisture in the medium. Any idea why this is happening.
I built an incubator the other night of of melaite and wire 2 60watt blubs in the top and bottom. I have a helix dbs 1000 dial in at 84 degree. I am thinking of taking the eggs out of the heborvator sytraform think that I am using now and putiing them into my incubtor. Just not sure of the movment of the trays from one to another would harm the good eggs.
As easly and in expensive as it is to build a real inbubator I dont know why anyonw would by the sytrform boxes. The only real cost os the helix conrtol at 130.00 and the rest is like 50 for the cabinet and 10.00 for the light bulb sockets. I bit of silican sealent to save the air from escaping and your done
