    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This buyer is attempting to get money from his seller a month after purchase. He claimed to be happy with the animal on receipt but its health seems to have steadily deteriorated.

Seldom have I seen a buyer search harder for any excuse not to take personal responsibility for the care of a critter. I am putting up this thread in order to make Emery's name searchable for the benefit of other sellers, so they can choose whether or not they want to do business with him. As always, readers should read and come to their own conclusions.

There's nothing new about a buyer attempting to get money, whether a full refund, vet bills paid or a free animal, from a seller. We, the buyers, sellers and followers of the BOI can easily make intelligent decisions on who to trust or not based on the original thread created by Emery A. against MOC Reptiles.

Move on, kids. Sheesh. :face_palm_02:

I'm not sure this is entirely warranted.

When I search the BOI and get a bunch of threads presented to me, the ones that stick out to me are the ones with my search terms in the title. I may well not search through seemingly irrelevant, or only marginally relevant, threads in order to see what my target user has said about someone else. Someone searching for a certain user may not even know what that user's screen name is, and so might not even take the MOC thread as relevant at all.

I took what Lucille did here as merely helping to organize the BOI in a more useful fashion, by pointing out clearly that a person searching for BOI-worthy info on Mr. Aranda will likely be interested in reading a thread about MOC. Lucille's done this before, and I appreciate her doing it.
