Ok I have to pipe in now.... I've backed off of the Upstate threads for several reasons...Now it's time. I sent them a large shipment quite some time ago. I usually do not ship open account or accept checks. For obvious reasons. However, my DEAR friend Neil said they were good for it and I took his word.. It's ok Neil... I don't blame you.(anymore) LOL's Anyway, they asked for it to be sent COD check ok. When I recieved the check two weeks later I deposited it and figured no problem. NOT! It of course bounced. I called and Alison said she didn't know what was going on or why there would not be enough funds. I would have to talk to Sal. I did and he said there must have been a mistake. Again it came back. Again Alison, and I had to talk to Sal. Now it had been over 5 weeks since they recieved the shipment. I was out of $1,500.00. After trying to call them for several days Sal finally called me after Neil chewed him out. He said he would paypal me every time he got money in until it was paid off. To make a long story short he lied about sending me money on at least 4 occasions. (Please keep in mind this was all right before they started getting bad posts. I knew nothing about them other than what I was told.) He finally paypaled me a couple of times payments of 100-150.00. After this had stretched out for almost 3 months from the receipt of the shipment...I got fed up! I called and Sal wouldn't answer. Alison finally called me back and seemed very frustrated with how Sal was handling things. She had talked to Neil and he mentioned to her that I wanted to get my old site back up. We decided on a trade deal for part of the balance. She would design and set up my site. She did a good job....Has been very helpful.... However, they still owed me money. I found out a long time ago that when someone owes you money don't make an enemy of them until you get it or you're sure you will never get it. That is why I kept quiet during most of the Upstate episodes. The other problem was that Alison was doing all the changes and mods to my site. When the problems came up I wanted to use another server and do my own editing. Alison kept putting me off on giving me the info. Sorry but, I do not know how to do the changes myself? Again I didn't know what would happen to my site if I ticked them off!? I kept trying to get my money. Finally, I accepted a trade shipment from them for the balance. (Since, I felt I was not going to get it in cash!) The specimens they sent were of poor quality and I lost several to unknown causes right off. I called them about it however, they didn't want to do anything. I said them...however, it was always Sal I talked to. He said, he shouldn't have to replace them since some of the ball pythons I sent him died! Funny.. in the mean time he had me drop ship 50 ball pythons to one of his customers.(Yes the customer paid me not Sal) Then called me a week later wanting 100 more since the ones he bought from someone else got him on the BOI and in a jam with replacements to other customers! Yes, I guarantee even the specimens I wholesale! Now in regards to Alison... from what I understand she was not aware of many things that Sal was doing. I'm not defending her in some of the things she did in regards to trying to protect their business or Sal. Currently, I have nothing against Alison. I've seen realationships where the spouse would protect the husband no matter how wrong he was. No, it does not make it right. She has never lied to me or treated me wrong.(directly) However, Sal has. He even called and wanted me to front him a shipment after this. I politely declined and explained that if he hadn't screwed me and lied to me on many occasions he might have that option. He called a few weeks ago and said he would have cash for a shipment. I put the specimens aside only to have him cancel... we all know why now. Sal.... don't bother trying to do business with me. At least not until you can figure out HOW to do business. Alison...if you read this, I appreciate your help and hope we can still work together. However, you had best get your name off everything involved with those business's. Good Luck!!!!
LOL's!!Hopefully this will be a new start and you can repair some of the damage from the past. If anyone sends Sal funds for anything up front...your a fool. Sorry for your problems Sal but, you brought this upon yourself. Good luck to you as well.
