Am I mistaken, or did he offer to refund you if you sent the animal back to him?

I really appreciate you poisting a pile of lies about me on fauna without even talking to me first, Send me my snake back and I will refund your money. I sent you a big, fat, reduced pattern bee. Not sure why that is such a problem for you along with your bs about the lessers and the other bee, they are sold. People paid for the lessers, they have been shipped. The bee is being held pending payment for one of my good friends. I am expecting more in, like I told you when you emailed me, that is why I told your cousin what I did. I never told your cousin that exact animal was for sale to her, just that I would have a female bee for her. For you to say that I do not care about the animals based on what? You do not know a thing about. I work on my animals every day and if I did not love them I would not have a house full of them. Cause yeah, I really get rich selling ball pythons to people for $500 over 2 months. Please Ashley. Your post was unfair and I do not have any desire for you to be stuck with such a horrible animal. Send it back to me, I will keep it or sell it to somebody that appreciates it.
I do have to agree that the snake recieved is definately not the snake in the sellers pics though which in my book is misrepresentation of the animal.
One more thing....can you please point out where he claimed this animal had over a dozen meals? I missed that part.
I swear I read the same thing. I think the seller has done what he can to try and make good on this deal.

Ashleigh, I don't think you should blame yourself for buying from somebody with a good rep. If you had come here and read some bad-guy threads with lots of red flags...and then chose to ignore those flags...then yeah, you could probably blame yourself for not getting what you expected. But if there are no red flags...then you are really not at fault at all....at least not in my book.
And...while it might appease some people to see Evan make an offer of a full refund on a return of the snake...you are certainly under no obligation to accept it, and I can understand why you would not want to. Your choice to live with the deal you got handed does not negate the fact that SOMEthing squirrelly happened in this transaction. You are well within your rights to let others know about it so they can make their own informed choice about whether or not to deal with Evan in the future....even if you choose not to accept the offered refund.
I don't know what's going on behind the scenes at Evan's place...but I DO know that if I'm laying out serious money for an animal, I want to know precisely which animal I am buying. I won't buy it otherwise. If a breeder can't give me that choice, then I don't wish to do business with them.

It was definitely wrong for Evan to send out a substitute without notifying you, and as I said, I don't agree with that. Also, mites are inexusable. I would want some type of remedy to this situation.
That's where the problem lies. You came here angry and unhinged with no intention of seeking any type of compensation or remedy. You did so prior to contacting Evan. When Evan offered a possible solution you refused....your sole purpose here is revenge because you feel you have been wronged. You lose serious credibility points with me for that.
Also, there is no way for any of us to know how old your animal is next to the one you just received. I would suggest taking a pic of the bee on a scale so that readers can see exactly how small she is. I'll also be the first "idiot" (as you so eloquently put it) to ask for pics of mites on the actual snake and not just in the tub. Mites have been known to hitch-hike in bags of bedding. Did you use the same bedding for your new animal as you have been using for the rest of your collection, or was it a new bag?
Sorry for the doubt, but the vindictive nature of your posts requires that such questions be asked.
