    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Using IMG tags with a mail attachment doesn't work...you'll have to either save the pic and attach it here, or use a photo hosting service.

ill try n attach the url from photo bucket .. im not sure how to attach them correctly; ( i can see them on the previous page, i used the attach button located 2 over from the font color button above?) lmk if they dont show again.

and again, she isn't the ugliest snake in the world, she is pretty but shes not what was supposed to be, that was the only thing that made me really mad, and then the new problem topped it off, ill upload pics of the mites on paper if no one believes me its all explained in the post before this, i taped one in the tub after i dumped the mulch as well so you can see it move a bit so you know im not lieing about it(i dont know how to upload video tho) .. im not that type of person to lie about something as this, i would hope people would have better things to do than lie about mites or something of this sort ...

Am I mistaken, or did he offer to refund you if you sent the animal back to him?

I swear I read the same thing. I think the seller has done what he can to try and make good on this deal. :shrug01:

I do have to agree that the snake recieved is definately not the snake in the sellers pics though which in my book is misrepresentation of the animal.

I really appreciate you poisting a pile of lies about me on fauna without even talking to me first, Send me my snake back and I will refund your money. I sent you a big, fat, reduced pattern bee. Not sure why that is such a problem for you along with your bs about the lessers and the other bee, they are sold. People paid for the lessers, they have been shipped. The bee is being held pending payment for one of my good friends. I am expecting more in, like I told you when you emailed me, that is why I told your cousin what I did. I never told your cousin that exact animal was for sale to her, just that I would have a female bee for her. For you to say that I do not care about the animals based on what? You do not know a thing about. I work on my animals every day and if I did not love them I would not have a house full of them. Cause yeah, I really get rich selling ball pythons to people for $500 over 2 months. Please Ashley. Your post was unfair and I do not have any desire for you to be stuck with such a horrible animal. Send it back to me, I will keep it or sell it to somebody that appreciates it.

Yup....that was his offer. Also, why did you not give him any opportunity to rectify this before bringing it here?

One more thing....can you please point out where he claimed this animal had over a dozen meals? I missed that part.

well with the pic, it wasnt a representative pic, after 4 weeks of me asking him for a picture of her numerous times, he finally sent that pic around 2 weeks before i sent my final payment, he specifically said that 'was' the snake he'd be sending me, and when she came today, its obvious that wasnt her, i said something and he said that he sold my snake and thought id appreciate him sending me that one instead .. thats not what makes me mad, it was at first but its not a big deal now, & then we found the mites, if neone knows how to upload a video, my cousin and best friend recorded a mite in her tub after we removed the mulch and we took a pic or two of a couple mites on a piece of paper that we picked off of her, that is what makes me the most angry is that she has mites & her size.

and the part where he said she had over a dozen meals ill list below the email;

this really shows how you lied and that you have no idea what you are talking about. the snake is over 2 months old, has eaten a dozen times, is in shed and is not small at all. You just have no idea what you are talking about. Send me back my snake and I will rerfund your money. You call my animals "shit"? Post on fauna how I answered and your 35-40 emails. How I put up with you demanding immediate shipping after I waited months to get paid. Put pictures of the skinny, new born ball python up with its weight on fauan so people on there can ridicule you and tell you that you have no clue.

she definitely has not eaten over a dozen times, and i dont see how that would be possible considering he said she was two months (8 weeks), do the math.

shes tiny and besides the mites thats the other reason im angry, misrepresentation is one thing but to send someone an undersized animal for what age you said it would be and for it to be so skinny is what makes me mad, shes so tiny, her colors arent what he said either but i dont care about that, i have a desert to breed her with eventually and hopefully it will clean up the pattern, other than that shes sweet as pie.

and as for where he says i demanded he send her after he waited months for payment, he and i agreed on 60 days payment plan, it took me 42 days to pay her off, so i dont know where that came from, and as far as demanding, i never asked him to immedietly ship her, i had to wait a week after he recieved the final payment and i didnt mind i never said a word about it.

and to the person(s) who asked if he said i could get my money refunded if i sent her back, yes he did say that, but after today and the back & worth emails between my friend and evan fighting, i was asleep and i never would have let that happen otherwise. so no, i wouldnt send her back becuase i know i can give her an amazing life and home.

he never tried to make good besides telling me he'd refund my money, he lied about her age and he sent her with mites, in my book thats bad business. i am happy though that whoever else nought off of him got a good deal, and thats not sarcasm i am serious. its my bad for buying off him, i get that. although i did my research and saw nothing but good things, so idk.

im not gunna sit here and bitch about it theres nothing i can do now except clear her of the bugs and give her a great home and a happy future, im just mad at how small she is and the mites. and as for him trying to make good, he never tried except for saying he'd refund the money but i explained that in a previous post about 5 minutes ago. other than that, he lied. as long as she gets healthy, begins to eat at all and thrives, ill be happy. thats all i care about is her being healthy. were taking her tomorrow to get the mites removed and popped to make sure that it is even a female, shes to tiny for me to pop b/c im not used to popping such small babies, i just really hope she is even a female, the whole reason i bought her was to make killer bee, lesser bee's and to cross her with a desert to get a cleaner looking pattern.

There is really not much he can do as far as the mites other than paypal you the $25 for a can of Prevent-a-mite. As far as the amount of feedings and her age, if she is over 2 months it is very possible that she has had 12 meals being feed every 5 days. I have a cinny het pied male around 2 months old and maybe 10 meals of the top of my head and he is under 100 grams, comparing her to your other snake is useless as all snakes will grow at different rates regardless of how well they feed. I have 2 adult females both born march of '08 from 2 different breeders and they both feed on the same day consistantly from day 1 and 1 is around 1700 grams and the other just about 1000 just to use as an example on how differently snakes can put on weight and both have been vet checked and are both 100% healthy. I would treat for mites immediatly and keep the bee and your other female in a seperate room from the rest of your collection as mites can travel 12' per an hour and reproduce very quickly in high numbers and it will not take long to infest your entire collection. Just as a precautionary measure I would clean and spray all tubs and enclosures with PAM (prevent-a-mite) just to be safe and replace all substrate.

Hope you get her cleared up of the mites and she thrives for you.

Ashleigh, I don't think you should blame yourself for buying from somebody with a good rep. If you had come here and read some bad-guy threads with lots of red flags...and then chose to ignore those flags...then yeah, you could probably blame yourself for not getting what you expected. But if there are no red flags...then you are really not at fault at all....at least not in my book.

And...while it might appease some people to see Evan make an offer of a full refund on a return of the snake...you are certainly under no obligation to accept it, and I can understand why you would not want to. Your choice to live with the deal you got handed does not negate the fact that SOMEthing squirrelly happened in this transaction. You are well within your rights to let others know about it so they can make their own informed choice about whether or not to deal with Evan in the future....even if you choose not to accept the offered refund.

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes at Evan's place...but I DO know that if I'm laying out serious money for an animal, I want to know precisely which animal I am buying. I won't buy it otherwise. If a breeder can't give me that choice, then I don't wish to do business with them.

It was definitely wrong for Evan to send out a substitute without notifying you, and as I said, I don't agree with that. Also, mites are inexusable. I would want some type of remedy to this situation.

That's where the problem lies. You came here angry and unhinged with no intention of seeking any type of compensation or remedy. You did so prior to contacting Evan. When Evan offered a possible solution you refused....your sole purpose here is revenge because you feel you have been wronged. You lose serious credibility points with me for that.

Also, there is no way for any of us to know how old your animal is next to the one you just received. I would suggest taking a pic of the bee on a scale so that readers can see exactly how small she is. I'll also be the first "idiot" (as you so eloquently put it) to ask for pics of mites on the actual snake and not just in the tub. Mites have been known to hitch-hike in bags of bedding. Did you use the same bedding for your new animal as you have been using for the rest of your collection, or was it a new bag?

Sorry for the doubt, but the vindictive nature of your posts requires that such questions be asked.
