    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I wanted to see if anyone knows if I can ship FedEx overnite for reptiles, but have a No Signature Required on the package? My buyer said sometimes the Fed Ex driver beats her home by 5 or 10 minutes......I am Fed Ex certified too as of recently.

Yes you should. I just sent a box tuesday and they gave me the option. I think I picked "no signature".
 
A better plan, when practical, is to have the package held for pickup at FedEx.
A) it complies with the business to business wording of the waiver
B) it still gives you the security of being able to show that the package was accepted
C) it eliminates truck time (in cold or hot weather, even with climate controlled trucks, I consider this a good thing)
D) it's cheaper - you save the signature charge (but the box still gets signed for), you save the residential delivery charge, and you can ship Overnight Standard to a FedEx staffed facility and still have it there the same time as Priority (I don't trust using Standard when shipping to FedEx Office/Kinkos)...typical savings is $7-10
 
None of my drivers ever require a signature for anything. They knock and run. So even if you pay that little bit of extra for a signature, it doesn't mean they'll actually wait for a signature. I think it has to do with the house having a signature release on file.
