    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys, so I have a female who is currently 49 days past her post ov/pre lay shed. Her swelling went down a bit about a week ago and she is constantly laying in awkward positions. She was just shy of 2000 grams before breeding and had a healthy girth. I've never had a girl hold past day 40 so I'm starting to get concerned. So if anybody has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely, she hasnt eaten in about 3 months, I witnessed ovulation and her scales are about 3 millimeters separated starting 2/3 down her body, I palpated about 6 eggs, the bulging has been at her vent for over a week and a half.

Here's a picture of her at day 42

Great! Thanks Travis, I'm a bit more at ease knowing that. Also I updated my business partner on what is happening and she thinks that since she is holding longer the incubation period may be shorter, I called BS, but I can see how in theory it would make sense, is there any truth to that?

She looks incredibly uncomfortable. Sorry if the question I asked was a bit direct, but I'm sure you've seen the peeps who aren't even sure what an ovulation looks like.

Best of luck, hope you get a beautiful clutch out of her.

I have seen 52 days, I would say anything past 60 would be something to worry about.

You called BS correctly on this. There will still be an incubation period from 50 to 70 days.

Okay so day 51, shes developed an unnatural looking lump 2/3 down her body, shes also cruising the tub, pushing on it and trying to move it. When I open it she gets a very defensive posture (hence the blue lid). Hopefully you can see what I'm talking about in the picture. She just looks so lumpy I'm a bit concerned

Congrats! I had a girl lay on either the 19th night or the 20th morning. Other than that they've always been around 30.

Thanks guys hopefully she proves out! Shes an interesting story, I got her from some idiot on craigslist who said both her parents were albino so "shes like 90% het" LMAO I'm keeping my fingers crossed that at least one parent was and I took her to my albino to find out. Although $70 isn't a bad pickup even if she is normal. :)

Good luck on the albinos but im thinking they will all be hets at best. The waiting games never end.
