So after months of research and preparation, I finally got my first ever clutch of BP eggs! I was quite surprised as it is very late in the season from what other have said.
A few things I have learned from this experience:
1. I am horrible at palpitating
2. Regardless of if you think a gal is going to go or not, always be prepared for a clutch.
3. Keeping accurate records is a must.
4. No matter what you read on breeding, each snake is different and will prove your perceived thoughts wrong.
Now for the waiting to see what I get! The Dam was a pastel het ghost and the potential sires are a pastel orange ghost or a lemonblast. She laid 8 viable eggs and one slug.
Eggs are in a home made incubator holding a 90 degrees with 100% humidity.
