    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi. My name is nathan and i am a first time breeder. I have not done any steps in breeding yet due to the fact that i would like to know more before i do anything. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to give me some tips or procedures that some more experienced breeders use. Thank you

I'll ask just what you told me to haha. What brand of incubator is considered best? I guess I am not educated enough, I kind of thought that the incubator would humidify itself, does it not?

Also, get opinions from many different breeders before you decide anything. We all have different opinions and have had different experiences.

Give a couple breeders a call and talk with them. You'll learn a ton and possibly more than you ever wanted to.....Lol

Everything that Sara said!! Seriously! They are hungry lil monsters, we are not joking about this. But to answer the specific question. Most people find that to start out a Hovabator will suit just fine. There are places where you can get instructions on how to build one at home using an old fish tank, etc. Those will help you get started. I have used a Hovabator and it does a decent job, just remember it only heats, so keep it in a controlled room. Good luck, and really think through everything that Sara said.

I've made home made incubators for cornsnakes in the past, will instructions to control hydration inside Hovabator come with it?

If I remember when my hovabator came in last, the instructions inside are actually for incubating poultry. Just keep the tray in the bottom filled with water in the center compartment. It may tell you that also, I have since lost the instructions of course. Alternate method is to keep a small dish with water inside the incubator, either way works the same.

Thank you guys for giving me the heads up. I will thoroughly look into as much information as i can. I want to thank you guys again. If i have any specific questions i will be sure to post them
