    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just got two beautiful girls that only need between 200-400g to be breeding size (they where born 02) I had a few questions. I have them currently quarintened and plan on keeping them that way till after the cooldown and warm up cycle. Both girls are 50% het for albino. I plan on breeding them to my 1500g 100% het male. Should I cool down the male and femalse in the exact same way? My male is a picky eater so I feed him whenever he will eat. Should I just stop offering him food during the cooldown time? What time do you check for breeding weight? after their fast or before? Will they stop sheading during this time? I am so excited and now that I have only 4 months to prepare for the start of their cycle I am so nurvious. I want to do all this right. The girls are from the same clutch since I have two from the same clutch is the odd better or just the same one will prove out het? Thanks for listing. I will post photos later :)

I'm not going to write a comprehensive how to breed ball pythons post. That information is covered in various places on the net.
Here's a few resources I'd recommend you add to your own reference library:

As for the odds of your possible hets proving out, buying sisters doesn't actually increase your odds. Each snake has a 50% chance of being het regardless of their relationship to each other. It's like flipping a coin. You can flip a quarter 10 times in a row and hit heads every time, but the 11th flip still has a 50/50 chance. The previous flips have to bearing on the next one.
That being said, many people feel better about buying an entire clutch of possible hets to increase their odds. I can see the idea behind that, but statistically they're no better off.
Your odds are only increased by having more possible hets total to breed regardless of their relationship to each other.

This is a poor pic (I can never get the lighting right) but it is a good one of her patter.

I guess my question is. Is it important that you cool the male down? I know it is for the female. Here is my second girl
