    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This guy has contacted me about some ball pythons he has "bred". His prices are all over the board, asking a fraction of the market value on some morphs (snows for $300) and several times the market value for others (pastels $350), these are all supposed to be 2010 and 2011's. I found out that he only accepts Money Gram too...surprise surprise. When I asked him if he had references he simply said "no". I smell something fishy. He e-mailed me some pics of some pieds that he says he has, but after seeing his Facebook page and not really seeing any of these high end morph pictured there is nothing about this that sounds legit.
1. I'm wondering if anybody knows this guy.
2. I want to make people aware and proceed with caution, if he's approached me I'm sure he has others.
 
I asked him for a contact number and he gives me a Miami cell number although he told me he lives in Richmond. When I asked him about that he said he recently relocated to up there.
 
For the moment

I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. He may turn out alright in the end, but it isn't sounding good at this point.
 
He tells me he has over 600 balls and produces pieds, albinos, lav. albinos, caramels, clowns, pastels (at $350 each), ringers (at $250 each), and the list goes on, with nothing priced higher than $400 each. When I checked out his facebook page I saw nothing fancier than an albino in his photos. i just want to make other aware of this guy.
 
A few quotes to keep in mind...

"If it sounds to good to be true...it probably is"
"There's a sucker born every minute"
"Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware)"

They sound cliche, but they are so often very true.
The whole money-gram thing will be an immediate red light and deal killer for me.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck and let us know how things turn out. I live fairly close to Richmond and would like to know if he's on the up and up or a scammer as well in case I ever run into him.

First of all why would he receive them this evening? When I called the number I got a recorded message that this person wasn't receiving calls at this time. When I looked up the number it is a land line.
 
well, this should be fun to watch it unfold as you get messages.

not that i have any faith in this at all, but the snakes could have been delta-dashed to get them by this evening.

that being said, im HIGHLY HIGHLY doubtful on any of this. stay away greg !!! haha
 
I have no intention of buying anything from this guy, but I figure if he trying this with me he is trying it with others. If I'm wrong I will be the first to admit it, if I'm right I'd want others to be aware.
 
Im in Richmond Va and I've never heard of him. Not saying he Isn't an actual person But I do agree with everyone else who posted on the topic sound's to good to be true. As far as the picture's on Fb I have several animals that I dont have pictured there. IMHO that could go either way But too many red flags in other area's Greg do you have a contact number for him Like I said Im in Richmond Va and could easly meet up with him
 
get the persons name and do one of those background check things.

Anyhow sounds fishy to me too but hey wouldn't it be fun to find out hes a scammer and then confront him with it. he wouldn't be expecting that

That's almost every red flag for a scammer right out of the gate.

Although he must be reading the scam playbook wrong. He's supposed to tell you about a family illness after you send him money, not before. :rofl:

Well I called got a message said the person Im trying to call isn't accepting call's at this time so I left him a message told him who I was and that Im located in Richmond Va as well and I heard that he keep's Bp's through the grapevine that he had some morph's Im interested in ( which I am if he has them ) I left my number for him to get into contact with me I'll let everyone know if he does or not, and if he does if he has the animal's that he say's he has.
 
Quite a few of those types listed are way under priced. A PIEBALD FOR $350.... either thats a crappy pied or hes a bull-s***er and my guess is on option #2.... i wouldn't trust purchasing from him unless he was local and or within driving distance
 
Ive been in Virginia Beach for 4 years now. I think I've touched base with the majority of the breeders around here, and that name has definitely never crossed my path. I'm really nobody special, just saying. Ive bought snakes from all around VA. As far as pricing goes, the guy could be in a bind, and just need to bring in some $$$. That is more than likely false, obviously. If he was serious, he'd answer his phone.

If its too good to be true, it probably isn't worth messing with.

I wouldn't do it Greg, sounds to good to be true to me. I have a buddy that always gives me great prices, well actually a few buddies. Their prices can no where touch those, it looks like a scam to me.
