    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay let's start a friendly debate on a theoretical situation:

Lets say you sell some snakes to someone on a payment plan ( for arguments sake lets say six months) and of those snakes a female or two become gravid from breedings earlier in the season. But you didn't mention anything about possibly being gravid because you didnt think that anything took. Then the snake ovulated and lays eggs. Then the eggs hatch and the babies get started well before that 6 months is up. Do you then send them the babies that said gravid female produced after putting in the time incubating them and getting them started?

Honestly, I haven't thought of that. But I would keep the eggs since the original deal wasn't for gravid snakes. But if the female was gravid and I sold her as such, I couldn't do a payment plan. So For you last question, no i wouldnt. Unless it was previously agreed upon. That's my thoughts on it

I'd say let the buyer know that the snake ended up laying eggs and see if they are still interested in her now that she 'just laid'. If not, offer a discount or refund the full amount. If the snake was paid in full at the start and had already shipped to the buyer and turned out to be gravid, then the buyer got lucky. I wouldn't say the buyer is 'due' any of the babies since the female wasn't sold as gravid or poss gravid. Just my opinion. (edit to add - if they still want her, maybe throw in one of the babies for free as a gesture of good will, but totally up to the generosity of the seller)

I say your not obligated to give those babies to them because there wasent an agreement up front. I say get the female back on food as soon as possible and try to get it back to the weight you originally told the buyer. Then let it be. If they would have gotten them sooner than they would have gotten lucky but i think you have done enough by letting them pay for 6 months! Totally up to you. Goodluck.
