In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

my gecko baby has a bump right where his tail attachs to his body...
this is not the first time....last time it went away..but he did bleed some what...
now its back about 2 week later ????

Is he with any other geckos..... Female geckos? That is his ' love stick ' to put it into terms  It should go back into his vent but if it dosn't it might be a prolaspe

The pics must be loading clearer for you, Tim, lol, I can't make it out well enough to say what it is. Looks pretty big to be one of the hemipenes, though...especially if it is a young gecko.
Even with the blurry pics, I'll agree that it looks like it may be a prolapse. I'm guessing it is rectal, at this point (forgive the human anatomical reference, but it is more readily understandable). Keep him on paper towels wetted with a sugar water mix... and if it doesn't go back in by itself in a day or so, you should probably make a trip to the vet. Clearer pics, if possible, would help to confirm what the problem is.
if it is a 'rectal' prolapse - once it retracts, you will want to give a bit of a break from feeding; then resume with small, easily digested (and passed) meals.

I had to make them smaller but it is hard to make it out and still its a pain to do all that work for a picture. If its staying like that its more than likely a prolaspe. I can't tell how big the gecko is though, The tail looks small though so i'm not positive. The best thing to do if you can't get better pictures is to go to a vet.

yes it went back in,, he or she is in with other gecko.....
he seems to be doing ok

Well, My advice is that that one is a male and the other is a female. That ' bump ' that showed up is because he is breeding. I would seperate the two and get the male his own enclosure.

i dont think they will breed tho
becuz the male is alot smaller then the female
Male

male is in the front

Do you think they can still breed if the male is that small
