    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi I'm confused about the giant geckos. I know that people keep and breed the largest ones- the leechies. But I have been trying to find information on the second largest ones-- G.vorax or Halmahera. It seems all of the other species are readily available as CBB. the leechies, gargoyles and chahoua..... why not the vorax? they all seem to be WC. I am looking at buying a trio of these and want to know if anyone out there has any experience in maintaining them. I would like to know what's "wrong" with them as to why they are not more well known and popular. Are they demonic and vicious biters or what? Any info, good or bad would be very interesting to me and would help me make my decision as to whether or not i should purchase these guys.......thanks guys!!!

I have seen a few advertisements for CB vorax lately, but i dont know if they are actually cb or not. It doesnt seem like there are too many people working with them. I have heard that the WC ones dont do to well in captivity and may be the reason why we dont see a lot of CB ones yet.

Well I guess I'll see how well they do, as I think I just bought the trio. Waiting to hear back from the seller. Any more info that can come my way will be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

These G.voraxs are actually G. margenita.True vorax are much bigger then margenitas and are ALOT rarer.So you will mostlikely be getting G. margineta.Dont worry they are kept the same.I had a feamel awhile back.She seemed to like it pretty hot.Keep them pretty much like a crested gecko(same cage style)and make it alil hotter.Misting 1-2 a day.Feeding them crickets,roaches,crested gecko diet,baby food.
Also this species is a sensitive skined species.Meaning their skin can rip/tear easily.I never had a problm with tearing skin,but ive heard of it happeneing.So be carefull.Other then that their an awsome easy to keep and breed(from what ive heard)species.Theirs alot of them going around right know too.Hope this helps
