In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I got a HUGE Texas Rat on trade. I haven’t measured her but guessing 5 foot plus. My daughter in the pics is 7 years old and about 45 inches tall. The dog is a 125 pound pure German Shepherd.

I love snakes and my kids have had fun but she has been a breeder and isn’t very fond of being held. I also am not a fan of feeding cute things to snakes. She has been eating frozen chicks and mice. Eats great. I am just a lizard person and better and feeding crickets and roaches than birds and mammals.

She was exposed to a male about a month ago, not sure if she is bred, hasn’t laid yet this season, I honestly don’t know about breeding snakes.

Not friendly but calms down pretty quick. Will bite you though!

I have found some prices on these online but know that pricing something and actually selling it are different so please make me an offer. Experienced shipping reptiles so no worries there.

Told it is a female, told she is a proven producer, told she has some white scales that mean she might produce some interesting babies. I think she is a female based on her tail end but haven’t probed because....bearded dragon person here. Not wanting to stick something in a snake hole... but will if you need me too, lol!

Did I mention she is HUGE?

Just curious if a Fauna member bought this snake. I exchanged a couple PMs with the seller, and made an offer. I received no response to that message, and a couple I sent after that.

If it's sold, no problem, but I'm looking at other animals, and just wanted to know.

Thanks,

Kathy

Kathy, I posted a wanted ad for Tatsnakes and actually ended up with some rather nice snakes. Just FYI!

Thank you. I wasn't really looking, but as a hobby keeper, I occasionally buy snakes just because a particular one is cool-looking. That was the intent with this one, but the seller is in the wind.

I did find a nice adult male, and just bought him. :)

I hear ya! I like ratsnakes, Texas in particular. Keep a pretty decent collection. As a female, this girl would be a nice Breeder, but like you said... she must be in the wind elsewhere! Lol
