• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Got a quick question

Sorry to post so much but this just came to thought. Dan bought my BD baby one of those glass terrariums from exo terra and it measures about 18"x18"x24", do you think that is big enough for him until he gets to be about 1? We got a 55 gallon we are going to put him in when he gets big but man he is big right now! We have his sister and he is monsterous compared to her! Im so pyched about having him! He is just so darn hyper I can barely hold him!

You would be better off with a 6 sq ft floor, something 2'x3' so you get a good heat gradient.

Don't try to hold him, let him hold you. if you try to hold him he will try to escape. Try just placing him on your shoulder and letting him hang out

I believe thats what we are going to do anyway ( put him in the 55) because he is growing outragously fast! he is already eating pinkie mice and bigger crickets than his sister! I have been letting him chill on my shoulder when I walk around the house to clean and stuff and he loves it! He especially loves when I take a tooth brush and rub it on his back and stuff to " clean him" we have been letting him go outside in the sun and wow! his color is outstanding! But now Im not sure what he really is because he doesnt look like a florida orange much anymore! As soon as I get film I will send a pic for you guys to help me guess what he is. Do you think a reptile vet can tell what breed he is?
