    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Like many of you I also went to the Daytona show and picked up a few snakes for my collection. I saw a very nice Hypo Tangerine Honduran at Allen's Captive-Bred Reptiles table. I spoke with Allen about his snakes for a bit and decided to go ahead and buy the snake. (This was on Sunday)

We put the container the snake was in; in my GF's bag to help keep it secure and stable. I'm not sure what happened (if it was on my end or before the snake got to the show) but Tuesday I got home and found the snake dead.

I wrote Allen to inform him of what happened and he told me he doesn't usually refund but if I was going to the Tampa show he would let me pick another snake for the same price. I told him I wasn't going. I thought that would be that. I couldn't prove if the snake had issues before or after I got him and totally understood if he said sorry there wasn't anything he could do. (Standing in his shoes)

He wrote back saying a check was in the mail. (Of course I had to verify the snake was one I got from him)

WOW!
I hate to start a "Business/relationship" off l ike this but you got class and I thank you.
