I found Grieg Hillman's add on Kingsnake under his girlfriends name, Caitlyn. Which now I know is not allowed from what I have learned. Caitlyn and me made a deal on 3 normal female ball pythons. Two were over 1000 grams and one was 900 grams. I paid her right then and there after we agreed on the price. She told me they would ship the following Monday next day. That was fine with me.
On Tuesday I got the snakes like she had said I would. As soon as we opened the box we new something was wrong. We got one out at a time and weighed them like we do with all new snakes. One was 1000 grams, which I paid for, the others were 700 and 659 grams. Not what I paid for. Right then I got on and emailed her about it to see what was going on. I got a responce back from Greig learning they were his snakes and she was just handling the deals for him. He told us he missed up and shipped out snakes to someone else and shipped us theirs.
My main problem was that I bought one thing and got another. He gave me his number to call him so we could work something out. We only bought the girls so that we could breed them this year. I don't need ones I am going to have to wait a year on right now.
In out phone call and emails, he suggested to refund 50.00 and we could keep the snakes. I said 100.00 refund and we keep them or send me another 700 gram one and we are even. Then he said he would refund 250.00 and we were to send the 2 small ones back. I agreed. Man did I mess up. We agreed on all this over the phone. Never do that again.
24 hours later I still didn't get the refund so I emailed him about it. He responded saying he would only do 200.00 that I was to pay shipping and that he wouldn't refund that till he got the snakes back first.
Why would I send the snakes first and then expect him to refund my money when he messed up in the first place.
Needless to say he didn't send me no money and I still have the girls. I hope they are girls, now I am so worried about that we are going to get the probed to be sure.
Before this deal with him I didn't have any worries about dealing with anyone on kingsnake. I had bought 5 other snakes inthat month and all went perfect. I did report it and I have all the emails between us from the first to the last. I will keep them on file just encase I ever need them again for my proof showing what he did and how I tried to get him to fix it.
Now he has his adds up again with normal females he told me didn't exsist. Everyone please becareful and research on a seller first before buying. Now I know this is why this sight is here. Wish I would have look into it all a little more before I missed up. I lost money but I don't care. I care about he was selling one thing that he did not have. And if he did he should have worked with us more to fix it. When you make a deal with someone you keep your end. And if YOU mess up, you do what you have to do to make things right. I know I would if I had done that mistake.
