    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

LOL! That certainly wouldn't end well. Not to mention that Connie couldn't eat cake anyway, even if I did, by some miracle, produce an edible cake for her.

We took a drive out to Apalachicola and I bought Connie something that she wanted last time we were out there, but the shop was closed that day. Then on the way back home, we stopped in at the seafood market she used to work at part time and bought 40 pounds of fresh shrimp. They had JUST come in off the boat, so they were really fresh, and we figured we can stock up the freezer. None of that bland tasteless imported crap, this was fresh from the Gulf of Mexico.

Temp was around 70 degrees, so it was an excellent day for a drive along the Gulf of Mexico.

Connie tells me that her mom told her that she held out giving birth to her as long as she could, because she didn't want Connie to be born on Groundhog's Day. But finally at 11:30pm, she couldn't hold it off any longer....
