    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

happy emerald :)

Beautiful snake Deobra, did you ever resolve the eye cap thing or has she even shed yet?

she did shed, one of her eyes looks fine the other still looks retained? but it looks better? I dont know what it is but Im assuming still partially retained should I let her go through another shed cycle? or try to get it off?

You could probably go ahead and try to get it off now, just be careful! That bite would most likely be picture worthy:ack2:

thank you everyone for the compliments :D I love her so much and she is completely content

Billy I will attempt it and see what happens LOL

Try using a QTip in warm water just to loosen it. That's what I do. Gloves might be a good idea to shield a bite.

She's beautiful! I love the color so much it's very vibrant!

well she just aint having me trying to get the eye cap off! LOL I will keep trying though.
Another question she eats a large mouse for me every 2 to 3 weeks. When doing research I read you shouldnt feed them more than that because they are not very active snakes, but she seems to ALWAYS! want food should I feed her a little more often? she is fairly active considering I take her out alot and let her roam in some of my small trees outside.....so would it be safe to feed her more often?

If she defecates between meals its fine if she acts hungry. If she hasn't yet, don't feed her again until she does. Also, be careful because since they aren't very active snakes they can get fatty.

Like, they have really slow metabolisms, and like humans, if the eat a lot and don't exercise much, then can gain weight and retain a lot of fat. It's better, in my opinion, to actually give arboreals smaller meals because many will, once started, eat what is put in front of them, even if they aren't that hungry any more.
