    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone ever encountered this?

My spider female when through a really thick shed and she had trouble getting all of it off especially near the neck area. I sprayed her down really well and left her today i checked on her to see if it had come off. What i seen surprised me the skin had been rolled down really tight around her skin. I soaked her for about 45 minutes then removed the skin which came off pretty easily. It definitely left a mark though her skin is irritated and there is a very noticeable indent where it was tight around her. It didn't go through her skin but I'm worried if internally anything was harmed. Im going to attach some after pictures, i didn't take any before ones but i did shoot a quick video that I'm going to post to my youtube. What should i do ? Schedule a vet visit? Put Neosporin on it? Please let me know your opinions and if you have ever dealt with a similar situation. Thanks

Doesn't look real good... But, I've seen worse. It should, key word, should, return to normal with a few hours? I see it been one already... Update photo please. I put Aquaphor on every skin issue on all animals... Human and reptiles at least, aquatic stuff... Diff story.

Thanks for the reply I'm gonna see if i have some aquaphor to put on it. I took the picture 5 minutes after i took the skin off and posted them here right away so its been about 30 min i will see how she looks in an hour
