In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is my first clutch, EVER and Well it has been 65 days, and I'm just giddy w/ anticipation!

my questions are:

1. Is there anyway to tell when they are getting ready to hatch?

2. When should I worry? I'm not but should I? :)

3. I have to open my incubator to look at my eggs and I'm being TOLD NO (like I am 3 ) from my fiance. Should I or Should I not look?

So basically as the final days apporach until the first clutch begins to hatch, what should I do, can I do, and what should I NOT do?

Any help at all will be most appreciated...

Thanks
Tinzal :)

Haha, been there done that. My first clutch hatched out just a couple weeks ago! looking every 3 seconds did no damage, all 13 of the surviving eggs hatched. You can tell they are getting ready when they start 'sweating' and will deflate. Do not add more water like they are starting to shrivel, you will drown the babies. All mine were out and running about an hour or two after pipping. House them on wet paper towel until their 'belly button' falls off and the hole becomes a slit. Then it's just emptying of the bank account until they are big enough to be sold!
Good luck!

THanks for the info!

Thank You so much for the information

And it looks as though my eggs are starting to "deflate", so hopefully there will be a lil nose poking out soon :)

I'M so excited.

You can truly judge an animal lover, by the amount of time they spend starring at a bunch of eggs :)
