    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What is yalls opinion on the best hatchling rack. I am not talking about price most or least expensive. I want to know what is the best overall hatchling rack

Best is entirely subjective, and dependent on one's experiences...unless you just want votes for what people would like to have someday.

I really like my AP racks...but I never got around to purchasing a hatchling rack from them because I decided that 6 qt Sterilites were not the best option for me (even though I have a bunch of them, many were never even used).

Much as I dislike most Vision racks, I'm quite happy with their baby rack. It can hold babies for longer than 6qt tubs, and it's a fraction of the cost of ARS or FB. (I know you said you weren't asking about price...but it IS a factor in many of our purchasing decisions)

I really like my boaphile hatchling rack. Super sturdy and decently priced as it comes assembled, free shipping and includes tubs.

Also love my Vision rack with hatchling tubs... only downside is that the sides are not enclosed so you have an issue with temps outside... I compensate with an efficient space heater.

Best is freedom breeder with their tubs that are a little larger than most others. You can keep babies in the longer, plus they are not clear so offer some comfort from the outside world. Now the vision are very good for a LOT less.

Randy, and everyone else thanks for the input. I have actually been eyeing the freedom breeder rack. That is what I am looking at now. Randy do you have one? I also keep jungle carpets... is the tub fit tight at the top would a baby carpet be okay in it? I think that is the way i am leaning.

next question..... is the 75 bin rack too tall? I was thinking about getting a 50 stack let me know what you think thanks

I really like my ARS combo rack. It has six levels of cb70 and 6 of the hatchlings tubs. I love that I dont have to deal with water bowls being flipped over. That was the main reason I decided to go with those tubs/racks. I do think that it is too tall for me and I will have trouble feeding the hatchlings in the upper levels once its full. Im 5' 11 and I can only look into the lower two levels of the hatchling tubs.

ok good inout. I do have a ars cb 70 30 bin combo and the top rack is too tall for me as well. I am about the same height and needed input. I think I will be going with the 50 bin rack and see where that get me going. I like my ars rack but wish the bins all stacked.

Ok so I took the plunge and just ordered a freedom breeder hatchling rack and I'm super stoked on it! It was a tops up between ars and fb but the fb bins have actual injection molded bins which are designed to be able to stack where the ars do not. I can wait. I have a 30 tub ars adult bp rack can't wait for the fb ones to show up! Ill post pics when it lands and now to wait on the incubator! 7 days until the first clutch hatches!
