    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Weather station out in front of my garage is saying the "feels like" temp is 126.0 degrees.

I was just out watering Connie's faltering tomato garden and yeah, it is right warm outside.

Not the kind of day to be doing anything strenuous in the yard, me thinks.

Finally cooled down last 2 days here in Ohio. Last Friday for what ever reason the Sun seemed hotter than normal. Not temp itself but the actual rays coming down. I decided the grass could wait a few more days.

Actually I have noticed over the last year or three that the sun's rays just seem a lot more intense on my skin than it used to be.

I also remember as a kid that the sun seemed much more yellow than the white that it is now.

But I guess the global warming camp would rather blame human beings as being the cause of any increase in temps, ignoring that monstrous ball of fusion flame beating down on the earth every day. It wouldn't take much of a minor variation in output from the sun to have a dramatic effect on that narrow range of survivability for us human beings on this little (comparatively speaking) ball of dirt circling it.

On 08/07/2023, the "feels like" temperature here hit a high of 136.3 degrees. :ack2:
