    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just got a JCP, I usually hang over in Leopard gecko forum. Introducing myself to you fellow Morelia owners. Any pointers/ links to care sheets for a newbie? (Have had corns b4.)

JCP pointer

I got this lovely bite from my 6ft. jungleXdiamond, she was definately hungry. They are cool snakes, just a little cage agressive, but once out they are fine.. Good luck!! Mike Leonard

Jcp

Luckily when she bit me she realized i wasn't dinner LOL!!! It hurt somewhat, and bled for a little while, but all in all it is not as bad as a bite from a spiny tail iguana or a tegu. They really make you bleed. If you have any pics post some of yours. Later Mike :bolt01:

Lisa,

Pythons are pretty straight forward and easy to care for. JCP's like to climb, especially as youngsters, so a little height and something to perch on is appreciated. A water bowl big enough to soak in is a good thing, as is a tight hide spot. The temperatures should be 78°-80°F on the cool side and 88°-90° on the warm side. They need no additional light. I feed the young guys once a week and the adults every two weeks or so. They like some humidity but don't go overboard. I only mist them when they are in shed, and then only if they aren't smart enough to soak themselves. :p

The major feeding issue can be switching from mice to rats. These guys can be very finicky if they are not switched young. Feeding an adult four to six mice can be tedious and expensive. Most will take an occasional bird if you have access to them. Mine like RodentPro chicks and quail.
