    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hi everyone :wavey:

I have my new vivs built to seperate my two males (finally) had months of everyone going :ack2: "you have two males togethr???) lmao :rolleyes: but no more! anyway, I have two vivs to decorate and they both have different personalities plus the tanks are bigger and the bark and branches wont fit! so I'm starting from scratch an need inspiration.

we are building a basking ledge, but not sure how or what shape yet...

basically I would love lots of pics of your set ups so I can :dgrin: yea ok ... steal your ideas lol.. NO! get inspiration! ;) haha

so please please post me some I would be so happy :bow01: and love you forever!

those backgrounds look quite good actually, oh well we have marble affect tiles now :(
but it is helpful because we have lots of slate left from the fish tanks that we were going to use but I wasn't sure if it would get to hot on the basking spot but seems fine in yours so we can do it afterall. nice beardies too!

ps, where did you get that huge hide from on the second viv? al the ones I have seen are too small for beardies.
 
The hide is for ferrets and I think I bought it at Petsmart or Petco, somewhere like that. I knew Whiskers was going to need a place to brumate this last year and that was perfect. He spent two straight months in there, he doesn't sleep in it every night now but he still does from time to time.

Thank you for the complements....my husband says that I'm trying to be the Martha Stewart of the beardie world, hehehe!!! And by the way...that white powder on the bottom of both enclosures is crushed cuttle bone for calcium ;)
 
I never thought of looking for another animals hide t'is a good idea :) my boys always go under there ledge into a blankie to sleep so thought a hide would suit them.

ok so far got some nice boulders with a green tint... and gonna use slate on basking point top but going to be rounded off into another ledge...

Thank you Cat!!!! And I'd be happy to loan him out to you....what state do you live in? He doesn't eat too much, isn't too demanding and best of all....doesn't require UVB!!!! ;)

you see you just can't get those hides over here, have you seen the pic of what I've done so far on reptile rooms?
might try and keep it simple. starting to wish I just used our old aquarium now... :)

very on the ball for your age rob thats why I thought you were older.. no offence intended by the way. yea the prob with reptilesupply is the postage and tax issue, I sent them two emails with questions when I wanted the repcal and they never replied... not keen on internet sites that don't reply to queries. I'll say an early happy birthday coz I doubt I'll remeber next month lol

Its good to be polite, it scores well with the ladies, especially over here.. honesty goes well too. anyway lol reptile forum. my beardies really need to move they have claimed their territories in the tank now anf they are out growing it fast. funny though coz they know mummy doesn't approve of them fighting.. as soon as they start and they see me standing over the viv they both stop and put there heads down, check me out and walk away from each other.. whos the head bd?? lol

gonna pester hubby this weekend (he's gonna regret having the wkend off) and we'll finish it together just simple enough to be able to house one atleast.. we can always add stuff later.
 
Yea... I would reccomend you remove them pretty soon, if they are fighting allready thats not good. I only feel that 2 maby 3 females and babies under 6'' can be housed together. Make sure you bug him so he will help you out, so you can sepperate.
 
yea after a few years you kinda get the nag down to a gooden lmao, I know how to annoy him!! No he knows how important it is. have you been on the general interest forum on here... just for laughs? they have some funny stuff. soz still checking this place out! cheered me up after that adoption story though... hardcore :(
 
No I have not checked it out. I just skim threw the beardie section. I am mainly active on reptilerooms.com but for the last 2 weeks i have been watching a thread in here about adeno virus. Its quite the battle. It makes me sick some of the people on here.
I will see about skimming threw the other threads.
 
oh no it's on reptilerooms lol, thats where I know you from silly!! you checking on cheris and tracie? yea I stopped reading it I thought it had calmed down, I might check back if it has gone off again. puts our moderators in a different light on here If I had more knowledge I'd pitch in more with my gloves on :)
