This is my first time attempting for fire yellowbelly mojaves. I crossed a male fire yellowbelly to a female mojave and got one fire yellowbelly, two yellowbellies, one fire(?) mojave, and one mojave-thing. Both mojaves hatched out looking almost identical, but after first shed one of them darkened quite a bit.
I've attached four photos. One is four of the hatchlings immediately after they hatched (one yellowbelly is missing because he hatched a little late). Notice how the two mojaves are extremely pale. The mojave in question is in the bottom right of this photo.
The two single photos are of the possible fire mojave following his first shed.
The photo with two animals is what I would call a fire mojave (although this one hasn't shed yet) and the possible fire mojave at the bottom.
My biggest question is... well, what do I have? Do I have a fire yellowbelly mojave and a fire mojave? A fire mojave and a normal mojave? Two fire mojaves? Two normal mojaves?
Thanks for the help!
