    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've been looking for a way to cool my tanks all the cages are going to be housing dragons. The cages will be kept outside under my carport and don't get direct sunlight but will regardless will get too hot since I live in FL. I'm currently thinking of adding pc fans to help solve that. So far I found fans for $4.99 each w/free shipping. I know I need an ac adapter, but im not sure what or where to buy it. I have lots of ac adapters I don't use so since there laying around I was considering using those. To control the fans im thinking of getting a fan controller.

I'm going to put fans in five tanks. Three of them are Visionarium Model 332 and the other two are smaller tanks like the white ones a seller on here sells for bearded dragons. I'll try to post a pic or a link to one later. My other question is if maybe I will need to use more powerful fans or maybe even two fans in the vision cages. Could anyone offer some input and suggestions? I'm trying to figure out what works best.

Thermostats

Try hooking up a thermostat to your fan. I've never seen them used with fans, but I'm guessing that it would work just as it does with heat lamps/heat tape.
