    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello guys first post here. I am just curious I just bought a snake from someone. They said about 4 years old and all they could tell me is he is a hypo red tail boa. anyone hazard a guess to what kind? Also he looks really pink to be a hypo all the other hypos I seen are much darker then him. Only picture I can find that somewhat resembles him is a salmon hypo. Any ideas ?

With out lineage details it’s hard to say these days as bci (bi) boa imperata now has been pretty mixed up over the past decade or so , looks a really nice healthy snake tho with some great tail colour
Could well be Hypo so many different shades in hypos, hard to tell from the photo, enjoy your new boa

He looks a lot more pink, like my pastel hypo, than just hypo. If he is only hypo he's a nice one but as Richard said, with no lineage there's no way to know.

Pretty boy, enjoy your new pet.

Thanks for the response he is definitely one of the calmest most tame snakes I’ve seen for his size seems to me the bigger they get the grouchier they become. Maybe cause it’s harder for some people to handle a bigger snake here are some more pictures. Of his tail and his coloring and one of him just chilling he has been just chilling like that for like 30 mins lol
