    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay, so it's day 57 and I had an egg pip day 50, I wasnt complaining so I cut the eggs, ended up with 2 spiders and 4 normals. so heres my problem about 4 days ago I knoticed the nicer spider was looking a little dry, then yesterday I found him dead in the egg and noticed one of the normals was dry, today he was dead. What can I do to save these guys???? I heard pinch and cut the chord for the ones who are a bit dry them put them in a moist paper towel. So I'm going to try it. ANY AND ALL HELP IS MORE THEN APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!

Just lost the second spider, the other normal was on his was out so I pinched and wrapped him in a moist paper towel. Currently waiting for my partner to come with more paper towels.

I use water from the water bottles I keep in the incubator so the temp is the same.
Just add a little water to keep the egg from drying out, sorry for your loss.

More information would be helpful. Are they out off the eggs, or still in? Its possible you cut too far or poked around to much, and lost the yolk and protective fluids from inside the egg( I couldn't think of how to word that right, sorry its late, but basicly did you cut the side of the egg and have allthe nice slimey stuff.fall out while the snake is still in ther
e?). Maybe if you send pictures someone can help you with a response.

If you cut you've got to keep tabs on the fluid in each egg and add water (same temp as incubator) directly into the eggs if necessary. You also need to flush out bacteria that begins accumulating in there. Pinching and tying off the cord is more an issue for babies who have a twisted umbilicus and are unable to absorb their yolk properly. Dehydration happens very quickly in neonates. :( I'm very sorry about your losses.

When you cut the eggs did you put the tub back in the incubator with the lid on? If you left the eggs exposed then they would dry out quickly, and like everyone else has stated you need to keep an eye on them and keep them watered.
