    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello al,
I need some help to identify what kind of leopard gecko I have recently aquired. My specialty is Uro's so I am a little out of my element here.
His color is different that most leo's so if you could please look at the pic's and let me know if you know what kind he is
I would really apperciate it!

Okay so what is that? lol
Is the care any different than regular leo's
Can you believe that someone abandoned him?

I have a question regarding 'Tremper'. My gecko is an albino from the Tremper line. I know Ron Tremper (That is right, right?) is a well respected breeder who has named several morphs like APTOR and RAPTOR. Is the 'Tremper' tag just stuck on because he named it that way or is there a way to specifically tell a 'Tremper line' from the 'regular albino line'?

Stupid question, I know, but I'm not too good with names and such :shrug01:

I think the Tremper albino line is just the Tremper line he founded. I don't know of any ways to tell the different albino strains apart. The three lines are not compatible though, as far as I know.

Correct all three albino lines are different strains of albino, and all recessive. They are all three named after the breeder that first produced them. They are not compatible, so if you bred a Bell and a Tremper you will not get albinos, only double hets for both. One way to tell the albinos apart is with the eyes. Rainwaters tend to turn black or look normal, in Trempers the iris stays pinkish while the pupil gets darker almost black, the Bells stay pinkish and pupils stay a ruby red color, and tend to have a nice orange eyeliner look. Bells are easier to tell from the other, due to their eyes, and looking at the pink color which is more of a burgundy. Bells also seem to be a little more spotty, unless they are hybinos.

To quote those on Family Feud, "Good answer, good answer". :thumbsup:
